Buthler & Öhrlund are a Danish-Swedish duo of writers commited
to writing criminal stories about the times we live in, and the
problems people sometime faces.
The authors, Dan Buthler and Dag Öhrlund, met by chance over
the Internet. Buthler suggested that they should write a thriller,
based on an idea, that had lingered in his mind for years. The result
was "mord.net" (murder.net), released in Sweden in August
2007.

The latest book, "En nästan vanlig man", roughly
"An almost ordinary man", was released in Sweden
in August 2008. Here you will, once again, meet Jacob Colt,
his partner Henrik Vadh and the rest of the group.
They investigate a brutal, and seemingly pointless, murder
in Stockholm, Sweden. The victim is a young and very successful
business man from the financial world. It turns out to be
the beginning of a hunt that will shock both Colt and the
whole country.

Our first novel "Mord.net" ("Murder.net")
was released in the fall 2007, got a lot of attention in press,
radio and TV and was rapidly sold to major publishers in several
other countries. In this book, police captain Jacob Colt and
his group were presented for the first time, and the critics
liked them a whole lot. One of the reasons for all the attention
the book got, was that the story is about Internet-related
crime, something that you hear and read about every day.
